Chocolate Tour
February means Valentine’s Day, Sweethearts and
Chocolate! A visit to a chocolate shop would be nice, but wouldn’t a
tour of 4 chocolate shops be more memorable? Then this is the get away
for you and your sweetheart – a self drive tour of four chocolate
makers in southwest New Hampshire’s Monadnock Region. We’ve teamed up
with Unbridled Chocolates in Keene, Ava Marie Chocolates in
Peterborough, Sweet Expressions in Hillsborough and Burdick’s
Chocolates in Walpole. They are offering our guests special discounts
and/or samples for the month of February.
Package includes lodging with scrumptious breakfast,
maps to shops with suggested stops for brisk walks to make room for the
next round of samples.

Stonewall Sap Contest
Late March..
When Spring is in the air, sap is in the buckets and Stonewall Farm
will once again host their sap gathering contest. Featured are about
twenty teams of draft horses and their teamsters that race to gather
the most sap from the woodlands. Other activities in past years have
included workhorse obstacle courses, sugaring demos, syrup on ice cream
and hayrides.
Reserve your package early which will include
accommodations, breakfast featuring NH maple syrup, tickets to the
event and a pint of Monadnock area syrup.

College Bound
If you have spent the last couple of
days driving around in search of the perfect college for next year’s
freshman, you deserve a break. Much as you love your child, sometimes a
little space is nice. Get out of the big box motels and be pampered for
about the same price. Reserve either our Manor or Terrace room for
$120.00 for yourself and get a second room for your college bound
student for only $55.00. Everyone gets a room with a television,
private bath and a scrumptious breakfast. You get a room with a
fireplace and a little time to relax.
